Making sustainable tech for everyone 101
Based in Amsterdam, Fairphone is the world leader when it comes to sustainable electronics, offering smartphones and audio products that are produced more ethically.
Since 2022, I have been working as their in-house strategist, helping to broaden the brand's mass appeal. Through a combination of multiple omni-channel campaigns, a carefully curated editorial calendar to amplify the brand's new voice, and a conscious shift in messaging and tone, I have helped Fairphone steadily grow its user base, posting record revenues since 2024.

Worked my childhood dream job.
Tinkle Comics were, and still continue to be, a mainstay of the average Indian childhood. I grew up on a steady diet of these books, and was beyond thrilled when I got the chance to work with their Corporate Solutions wing in 2015.
After leading close to a 100 brand partnerships and collabs, I got the chance to serve as editor-in-chief in 2020. Ten-year-old me could not have been prouder.

I led a design overhaul for the almost 40-year old brand, introduced digital editions and multimedia content, scripted and produced animated shorts featuring our legacy characters (linked below), and increased reader engagement by three times. My first year as editor saw the brand turn profitable for the first time in a decade.



HR case study? Go noir instead.
When I was asked to do an internal comms project for the Aditya Birla Group's HR division, the original brief was to make a cut-and-dry educational pamphlet.
Instead, my team and I pitched a more noir treatment, releasing a graphic novel steeped in jealousy, betrayal, and corporate mind games. Mandatory HR trainings have never been so exciting.

Recognize the monkey?
My most successful brand partnership at Tinkle was with Kelloggs. I wrote and produced a series of comics and animated videos about the adventures of Coco, the brand mascot for Kellogg's Chocos, massively boosting brand recall and sales.

The campaign was so successful, Kellogg's kept the partnership going for four years. We even received letters from fans claiming Coco was their favourite cartoon character of all time!
